Salary: The gross monthly starting salary will be 2600–2700€ and it is based on the salary system of the Finnish universities. There is a six-month trial period for the position.

Summary:

The Doctoral Researcher will be tasked with:

  • Analyzing large-scale bird monitoring data.
  • Crafting a PhD thesis.
  • Collaborating within the international consortium ‘HABITRACK’.

The PhD research will focus on modeling species distribution areas and habitat utilization using extensive European survey and tracking data. The objective is to identify priority conservation areas for 14 huntable species.
