They are seeking a highly motivated and talented postdoc to join the Robles group, Systems Chronobiology, at LMU Munich, Germany. This position, funded by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative Neurodegeneration Challenge Network (NCDN), is part of a collaborative project with Angel Barco’s laboratory at the Neuroscience Institute in Alicante, Spain. The project aims to characterize circadian and sleep-driven nuclear multi-omics dynamics in various mouse brain cells using advanced RNAseq and proteomics technology.
Requirements:
They seek a motivated and enthusiastic postdoctoral researcher with the following qualifications:
- Recent doctoral degree in biochemistry, bioinformatics, or related fields.
- Experience with high-throughput quantitative proteomics and DIA methods; a background in subcellular proteomics is advantageous.
- Proficiency in operating nanoLC-HPLC and Thermo Orbitrap instruments.
- Ability to conduct large-scale multi-omics data analysis and proficiency in programming languages such as R and Python.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with proficiency in German being a plus.
- Capacity to work independently, collaborate with a multicultural team and external partners, and mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
