Summary:

This position is available within the Optical Condensed Matter Science Group at the Department of Physics, as part of the Collective Research Center Control and Dynamics of Quantum Materials (CRC1238). The PhD project aims to investigate the steady state and non-equilibrium physics of quantum magnets using two-dimensional THz spectroscopy techniques.

Requirements:

Candidates should hold a Master’s degree in physics, applied optics, or materials science. They should be highly motivated with experience in ultrafast lasers and time-resolved pump-probe spectroscopy, as well as a solid background in condensed matter physics.
