Örebro University’s School of Business is seeking a doctoral student for the doctoral programme in Informatics, focusing on information security management. The research will investigate the use of artificial intelligence in developing information security policies targeting employees, particularly utilizing large language models. The position is part of the Swedish Research School of Management and IT and offers opportunities for collaboration and networking across 12 Swedish universities.
Requirements:
- General entry requirements: Applicants must meet both general and specific entry requirements for doctoral studies, including demonstrating the ability to benefit from the programme.
- Specific entry requirements: Applicants must have completed courses totaling at least 90 credits in informatics, including an independent project at the Bachelor’s level. Equivalent qualifications acquired in Sweden or abroad are also accepted.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving and critical analytical abilities, fluency in English (knowledge of Swedish not required), proficiency in programming and quantitative methods, and previous experience in socio-technical aspects of information security and artificial intelligence, particularly with large language models, are advantageous.

Örebro University’s School of Science and Technology is seeking a postdoctoral researcher in robotics for a fixed-term position. The position is funded through the collaborative KKS Synergy Project TeamRob, focusing on teams of robots working for and with humans. The successful candidate will work on research topics related to imitation learning, learning from human interaction, reinforcement learning, or policy transfer between robots.
Requirements:
- Hold a doctoral degree at the time of appointment.
- Applicants with doctoral degrees awarded no more than 3 years prior to the application deadline will be considered first.
- Competence in robotics and robot learning, with expertise in areas such as imitation learning, learning from human interaction, reinforcement learning, or policy transfer between robots.
