Be an international student who has not previously studied in an academic programme at Lincoln University.
Meet the academic and English language requirements for admission to their chosen programme at Lincoln University.
Meet all necessary immigration requirements to study in New Zealand.
Not hold any other scholarship.

Summary:

The Lincoln University International Pathway Merit scholarship was established in 2018 to support academically proven International students who have not previously studied at Lincoln University.

A scholarship to the value of NZ$2,500 is available, and is payable by way of a credit to the recipient’s Lincoln University Tuition Fees account upon confirmed enrolment in one of the following qualifications;

Certificate in University Studies, or
Diploma in University Studies (three-semester pathway), or
Diploma in University Studies (two-semester pathway).

The LU International School Leavers Scholarship (ISLS) was established in 2020 to support academically proven International Students to enrol in the first year bachelor degree study at Lincoln.

A scholarship valued at NZ$10,000 each are available, and are payable by way of a credit to the recipients’ Tuition Fees account, upon confirmation of enrolment in one of Lincoln University’s undergraduate bachelor programmes.

Title: 180-credit Taught Master Merit Scholarship

Selection Criteria:

Students must have a GPA of at least B+ average in the last year of their bachelor’s degree to meet the requirements.

Qualifying international students will be awarded with a scholarship of NZ$7,000 or NZ$10,000 towards the overall cost of their study in one of the 180 credit taught master’s programmes.

Title: Environment, Society and Design Summer Scholarships

Title: Doctoral Scholarships

Summary:

This scholarship was established to provide opportunities for students to pursue PhD study and research at Lincoln University.

International applicants please note that this year:

You must be in New Zealand before the scholarship’s closing date of 1 October 2022 to apply.
You also need a conditional offer of admission at Lincoln University, or to have been registered in the Lincoln University Doctoral programme after 31 March 2022.

Applicants must be new to the Doctoral programme at the commencement of the Semester immediately following the award OR have registered into the Doctoral programme no more than six months prior to the closing date of applications.

Applicants are also encouraged to commence their admission process into the Doctoral programme at Lincoln University. This should be completed by 1st October – closing date for this scholarship.

Selection Criteria:

Academic merit. A minimum grade point average equating to an A- (80%) average is required in order to be eligible to apply for the scholarship.
Research or other relevant experience.
